I'm listening to "Making Movies" yet again and I can't get past the fact that a couple of these love songs are just the best ever written.

Romeo and Juliet is just amazing. I love Mark Knopfler's relaxed lyrics. I feel so much of the angst and ache of this song.

I hiked the Mitch McConnell trail in Jefferson Forest Tuesday afternoon and I can't remember when I have seen so much humidity. Within the first mile, I was literally squirting sweat from every pore on my body. I had such a sheen, I had to take a picture for posterity.

Also, be warned, there are portions near the end of the loop (walking it clockwise) that have become a little overgrown. Be prepared for burrs in your clothes and be alert for ticks. I found two on my socks at the end of the trail.

WWE star and former Four Horsemen member Chris Benoit was found dead today in his home with his wife and child. Nothing from the regular news outlets yet, but this is kind of disturbing.

If you know me at all, you know I enjoy wrestling quite a bit. The Rabid Wolverine will be missed.

P.S.: If this is a stunt like the current one involving the alleged death of Vince McMahan, it is possibly the most tasteless thing ever.

P. P.S.: Tonight's Monday Night Raw is a 3 hour tribute and Vince already made an appearance to dismiss his untimely fake passing to announce the real passing of Chris B.

Ugh.

The news from Atlanta is awful. It looks like Benoit choked his wife to death and smothered his son before hanging himself. Just very ugly news indeed. And steroids look like they were involved.

Have you ever made a bad decision at the salon/barbershop/stylist you wish you could take back? I wen't for a haircut today and I asked for a 2 on the clipper guide and wow. Damn I hate male pattern baldness. I'm seriously considering just shaving it off now.

Note to self, three is as low as you go. 

Just an amazing place really, I loved it. The first album is just a few choice images, I have so many to go through.

We won the first two matches in the city tournament (while I was on vacation with my family), and then we went cold in the winning and losing brackets (with me the jinx) losing our last two matches to fall short of qualifying for the national APA 8-ball tournament in Las Vegas.

It would have been a nice surprise, but it wasn't to be. C'est la guerre.
